Elaine Holmes is an esteemed academic and researcher, currently serving as an Australian Research Council Laureate Fellow and Professor at Murdoch University since January 2019. In addition to directing the Centre for Computational & Systems Medicine at Murdoch University, Elaine Holmes holds a professorship in Biological Chemistry at Imperial College London, where contributions include research in spectral profiling relevant to precision medicine and toxicology. As a co-founder of Melico, Elaine Holmes also experienced a brief tenure on the board in early 2021. Earlier in her career, Elaine Holmes was a Professor of Computational Medicine at Edith Cowan University and the Head of the Division of Computational and Systems Medicine at Murdoch University. Elaine Holmes obtained a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from Birkbeck College, University of London, and a BSc in Biology from Goldsmiths College, University of London.
