Anno Hermanns

Anno Hermanns is a highly experienced professional in the field of analog and RFID IC design, currently serving as a Technical Fellow at Impinj since November 2016, focusing on RAIN RFID IC architecture, testing, and debugging. Prior to this role, Hermanns was a Principal Analog Engineer at Impinj, leading the M730/M750 chip development. Previous experience includes managerial positions at NXP Semiconductors, overseeing AMS System Analog Design and building the San Jose hardware design team, as well as leading UHF RFID initiatives at EM Microelectronic. Earlier career roles included director and manager positions in IC design at Tagent Corporation and Alien Technology Corporation, along with a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Colorado Boulder. Anno Hermanns holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Colorado Boulder, earned between 1987 and 1993.
