Niklas Jacobson is a Co-Founder at Important Looking Pirates VFX, where involvement began in October 2007. Prior roles include Lead Lighting TD at againstallodds for a brief period in August 2007, and a similar position at Double Negative from December 2006 to April 2007. Niklas also served as VFX Supervisor and Lead 3D at Visual Art from June 2005 to December 2006, primarily focused on commercials and music videos. Prior to this, Niklas held the position of Senior Lighting TD at DNEG between January 2004 and May 2005, contributing to notable projects such as Batman Begins and Doom, and at Scarlet Digital Imaging for a full CG animated television series from August 2003 to January 2004. Earlier experience includes a 3D Artist role at Visual Art (February 2002 - July 2003) and E-game (February 2000 - September 2001). Educational background includes a KY degree in Graphic Design from Nackademin (1999-2000) and completion of the Natural Sciences program at Rudbecksskolan (1996-1998).
