Alex Alcaraz

Alex Alcaraz is a seasoned manufacturing specialist currently employed at Impulse Space since August 2025, with a strong background in engineering and propulsion systems. Prior to this role, Alex served as an engineering technician and later as the manager of propulsion R&D operations at Ursa Major from June 2019 to August 2025, overseeing the process from design review to testing. From November 2013 to June 2019, Alex led a team at SpaceX focused on developing propulsion systems. Alex's career began at Robinson Helicopter Company, where responsibilities included leading production and overhaul teams for R22, R44, and R66 helicopters from February 2006 to November 2013. Alex holds an A&P Certification in Aviation/Airway Management and Operations from Westwood of Aviation Technology, earned between 2004 and 2006.
