Marc Buntaine is an experienced executive in the medical technology sector, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of IMRIS, Deerfield Imaging since October 2021. Previously, Buntaine held the position of CEO at Synaptive Medical from June 2020 to July 2021, and served as Executive Vice President at Mobius Imaging, now part of Stryker, from 2018 to 2020. Buntaine is the founder of Mevion Medical Systems and Zmed Inc., both of which Marc led as CEO, and also founded Surgical Navigation, currently part of Medtronic. Earlier in their career, Buntaine was the President of Elekta from 1990 to 1995. Buntaine holds a Master of Business Administration from Yale University and a Bachelor's Degree in Humanities from New College of Florida.
