Jing-Ke Weng

Scientific Advisor at Inari

Jing-Ke Weng serves as the inaugural director of the Institute for Plant-Human Interface at Northeastern University since November 2023. Weng co-founded and holds the position of Board Director at DoubleRainbow Biosciences, Inc. since April 2017 and has been a scientific advisor for both Galixir and Inari since November 2019 and May 2016, respectively. Previously, Weng was an associate professor and assistant professor of biology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from October 2013 to November 2023 and a member of the Whitehead Institute during the same period. Additional experience includes roles as a scientific advisor for BGI-Shenzhen and Phylos Bioscience and a postdoctoral fellowship at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies. Weng earned a PhD in Biochemistry from Purdue University and a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Zhejiang University.
