Peter Smith

Peter Smith, ACMA CGMA, is currently the Group Head of Finance Systems at Inchcape plc since November 2021. Prior to this role, Peter held various positions at Reckitt from August 2008 to November 2021, including Programme Lead for Global Finance Services, where responsibility encompassed planning and executing the GFS New Business Transformation Agenda. As CHQ Market Lead, Peter managed a critical ERP transition to SAP and led a small finance systems team as Senior Finance Manager. Other notable roles at Reckitt included Solution Manager for Management Reporting and Commercial Accountant, contributing to finance management transformation and Joint Business Plans, respectively. Peter's earlier experience includes positions at Wincanton and an academic background in Mathematics from Sheffield Hallam University, complemented by a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma and CIMA (ACMA) certification in Accounting.
