Leonardo Schripsema

Leonardo Schripsema is a seasoned software engineer specializing in site reliability engineering, with experience managing and upgrading Kubernetes clusters across multiple organizations. As a Staff Software Engineer at Incognia since December 2023, Leonardo focuses on improving Kubernetes upgrade reliability and cluster management through the development of controllers in Go and infrastructure on AWS using Terraform. Previously, at Wildlife Studios, Leonardo automated AWS infrastructure and monitored self-hosted Kubernetes clusters. Leonardo has held technical leadership roles, including Tech Lead and Senior DevOps Engineer at Passei Direto, where responsibilities included application development in JavaScript and TypeScript, and promoting DevOps culture. Additional experience includes a range of software development and infrastructure roles across various technologies, with a foundational involvement in security research during tenure at Grupo de Resposta a Incidentes de Segurança - UFRJ. Leonardo's education was completed at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro in 2022.
