Michaela Hackner

Michaela Hackner serves as the Senior Director of UX Foundations at Indeed, where significant contributions include the establishment of a global UX and research operations practice that enhances the UX Community. Michaela is also the founder of Design for Good, LLC, specializing in organizational design and coaching for design leaders. Previous positions include roles as Director of UX and Design Operations at Upwork, Director of Design at Morningstar, and Head of UX Content Strategy for Consumer Bank at Capital One. Michaela's extensive experience spans over two decades, with noteworthy projects and leadership in content strategy and user experience design across various organizations, including Forum One and the United States Federal Government. Michaela holds an MA in Communication, Culture and Technology from Georgetown University and a BA in Letters, Arts and Sciences from Penn State University.
