Shaina Mitchell

Shaina Mitchell, MPH, CHES, is a seasoned public health professional with extensive experience in health education and community outreach. Currently serving as a Senior Program Analyst at Independence Blue Cross since June 2023, Shaina has held various roles including Online Community Moderator and Contributor at Health Union, LLC, and previously worked at Aetna as a Student Health Account Representative. Shaina's notable past positions include Senior Program Coordinator at Drexel University and Public Health Educator at the University of Pennsylvania. With foundational expertise established as the Assistant Supervisor of Prevention Services at Bebashi - Transition to Hope, Shaina coordinated numerous health initiatives focused on breast cancer awareness and HIV/AIDS prevention. Educationally, Shaina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology Human Biology from Temple University and a Master of Public Health from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
