Dawn McCarthy

Dawn McCarthy currently serves as the Information Development Manager at Independent Age since April 2014, where responsibilities include leading the development of public information products and reviewing existing information with user input. Previously, as Information Manager, Dawn managed public information and implemented the charity’s public information strategy. Prior to Independent Age, Dawn held the position of Communications Manager for Adults and Communities at the London Borough of Barnet, focusing on communications strategies and publication schedules. Dawn’s career began at ITE Group plc as an Event Coordinator, responsible for marketing and event support. Dawn holds a Bachelor’s Degree in French and Philosophy from The University of Birmingham.
