David Wilson has a diverse work experience in various organizations. David began their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Guelph in 2011. David then worked as a Student Policy Analyst at the Ontario Energy Board in 2013. In 2014, they joined INVIRO Engineered Systems Ltd., where they served as a Project Coordinator and later as a Project Manager. In 2016, David joined the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO), starting as an Analyst and progressing to Senior Analyst. David also held the positions of Business Advisor, Advisor of Government Affairs, and Manager of Government Affairs before becoming the Senior Manager of Government Affairs. Currently, they serve as the Director of Corporate Communications at IESO since December 2023.
David Wilson earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Guelph in 2012. David then pursued a Master of Resource and Environmental Management from Dalhousie University, completing it in 2013. David has also obtained a LEED AP certification from the Canada Green Building Council - CaGBC.
