Todd Parcey has extensive experience in the electricity sector, currently serving as Operations Manager at the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) since October 1995. In this role, Todd holds ultimate decision-making authority for the operation of the Bulk Electrical System in Ontario, ensuring secure and reliable electricity supply. Todd has previously served as a Senior Operations Officer, playing a vital role during the 2003 blackout, and as Supervisor of the Renewable Integration Initiative, leading efforts to incorporate 11,000 MW of renewable resources into the IESO-controlled grid. Todd began their career at Ontario Hydro as a Reserve Operator, gaining valuable expertise in power system operations and high-voltage equipment. Educational qualifications include a Certificate in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Northern College of Applied Arts and Technology and completion of the Ontario Hydro Operator in Training program.
