Victor Sawal Jr.

Victor Sawal Jr.'s work experience begins in 2015 as an IT Consultant for WCG: The IT Exchange, Inc., where they designed and implemented a token-based authentication system using ASP.NET and SQL Server. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Software Developer for Ontario Tech University, primarily focusing on web-based visual analytics tools using Python, NodeJS, and Docker. In 2019, Victor joined Index Exchange as a Software Engineer II, and quickly progressed to Senior Software Engineer, responsible for backend software engineering in the Exchange Platform delivery unit. Victor worked on building pipelines, training models, and protecting infrastructure at scale. Currently, Victor holds the position of Staff Software Engineer at Index Exchange, starting from March 2023.

Victor Sawal Jr. attended the University of Ontario Institute of Technology from 2010 to 2015. During their time there, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science.
