Rabibrata Mukherjee

Rabibrata Mukherjee is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in the field of Chemical Engineering. Currently serving as Dean R&D and holding multiple leadership positions at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur since May 2009, Rabibrata Mukherjee has also contributed significantly as a Joint National Coordinator for SPARC at the Ministry of Education, Government of India since November 2023. Previous roles include Visiting Professor at The University of Akron and Visiting Scientist at the University of Cambridge, along with a distinguished tenure as a Scientist at the Central Glass & Ceramic Research Institute in Kolkata. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Chemical Engineering with a focus on Nanotechnology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and an M. Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Rabibrata Mukherjee has a strong commitment to teaching and research within the academic community.
