Joungyeon Kim

Joungyeon Kim, PhD, CPA, is an Associate Professor of Accounting at Indiana University Kokomo since August 2006, specializing in Auditing, Financial Accounting, and Managerial Accounting. Prior to this role, Joungyeon Kim served as an Assistant Professor of Accounting, teaching courses such as Intermediate Financial Accounting and Introduction to Financial Accounting and Managerial Accounting, as well as as an Assistant Professor of Management Information Systems, covering subjects including Introduction to Management Information Systems, E-commerce, and Databases. Earlier experience includes a position as a Software Programmer at Samsung Data System from January 2000 to October 2001. Joungyeon Kim earned a PhD in Management with a concentration in Management Information Systems from the Purdue University Daniels School of Business and holds a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology.
