Jay L. Hess

Jay L. Hess is the EVP University Clinical Affairs at Indiana University. Jay has previously worked as the Carl V. Weller Professor and Chair of the Department of Pathology at the University of Michigan Health System, Penn Medicine, and Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Hess completed their residency in anatomic pathology at Brigham and Women's Hospital/Harvard Medical School and their fellowship in hematopathology at Harvard Medical School.

Jay L. Hess received their M.H.S.A. from the University of Michigan School of Public Health in Healthcare Administration. Jay also has a certificate from The Wharton School in Business Administration. Jay received their M.D. from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Medicine and their Ph.D. from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Biochemistry Cellular and Molecular Biology. Jay also holds a B.A. from The Johns Hopkins University in Biophysics. Additionally, they are certified from the Wharton School in Business Administration.
