Megan Lewis is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in Indigenous policy and research, currently serving as the Director of the Centre for Indigenous Policy & Research at Indigenous Youth Roots since August 2019. In previous roles, Megan managed key initiatives like the first Indigenous Youth Policy School and Indigenous Youth Research Grants, demonstrating a commitment to empowering Indigenous youth. As the founder and artist of Pine & Needle Designs, Megan showcases contemporary Indigenous beadwork. Additionally, Megan has contributed to education as a contract lecturer and subject matter expert at Toronto Metropolitan University, developing courses focused on Indigenous child and youth engagement.
