Gabe draws on a deep background in markets, technology and derivative trading to lead Indigo’s Global Markets group in the expansion of Indigo Marketplace products and services around the world.
Gabe comes to Indigo from Cargill, where he most recently served as both Managing Director of Trading Technology and Senior Manager of Operations. In charge of Cargill's embedded technology team, Gabe spearheaded software development, implemented innovative practices, and oversaw regulatory and control functions. Prior to holding these positions, he spent over 12 years as a Trading Manager, Product Manager, and Sales Trader for the company’s Producer Product Line, an international unit committed to helping farmers and ranchers devise strong portfolio and risk management strategies. His responsibilities ranged from hedging agricultural commodities and developing software platforms to acting as an award-winning instructor at Cargill’s Option School and Behavioral Economics Sessions.
Before his career at Cargill, Gabe was a Senior Broker covering most futures exchanges around the world—offering market commentary, product management, and services to hedge funds and commodity trade advisers.
Gabe has an MBA and an MS in Finance from Boston College. He received a BA in Philosophy from Harvard University.
