Alex Fry

Alex Fry is a seasoned professional in the visual effects and imaging industry with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as a Senior Colour & Imaging Production Engineer at Industrial Light & Magic since November 2020, Alex has previously held key positions including Compositing Supervisor at Animal Logic and Freelance Compositing & Colour. A notable tenure was spent as Colour Pipeline Supervisor & Lead Compositor at Animal Logic from 2012 to 2013. Other significant roles include Compositing Supervisor at Dr. D Studios and VFX Supervisor at Babyfoot Productions. Alex began a career as a Compositor at Weta Digital and gained further experience as a Lead 2D Artist at Rising Sun Pictures. Academic credentials include a B.A in TV Production from Charles Sturt University, earned between 1998 and 2000.
