IDA is the medical practice of Robert G. Penn, MD.  Dr. Penn is Board Certified in Infectious Diseases.  The practice includes Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants. The practice team manages patients with complex infectious diseases at the hospital and office.  An infusion center in the office provides intravenous antibiotics and IVIG.  It is open seven days a week with a healthcare provider is on site when infusions are given.  Dr. Penn also provides healthcare epidemiology services at Methodist Hospital.
