Peter Wawer

Peter Wawer is an accomplished professional in the field of electrical engineering and electronics, with extensive experience in leadership roles within prominent technology companies. Currently serving as President of Green Industrial Power at Infineon Technologies since October 2012, Peter previously held the position of Vice President & COO at Q CELLS from September 2008 to September 2012. Other significant roles include Senior Vice President R&D and Operations at Qimonda, Geschäftsführer at Qimonda Flash GmbH, and various positions at Infineon Technologies that spanned from 2000 to 2005. Earlier in Peter's career, experience as a Development Engineer at Siemens AG and foundational education at Technische Universität Berlin, where a PhD thesis focused on optimizing thin, crystalline solar cells, underscored a strong technical background.
