Gas South District
Dan Markham is an experienced professional in arena management and event production, currently serving as Vice President of Arena Management and Executive Director of Sales, Booking & Event Management at Gas South District since October 2007. In this role, Dan oversees sales and booking for the Infinite Energy Center complex, which includes a 700-seat performing arts center, a 100,000 sq. ft. convention center, and a 13,000-seat arena. Prior to this, Dan owned and operated Chameleon Productions for over 20 years, providing services to national touring artists and landmark events including the US Olympics and two Presidential Inaugurations. Dan's earlier experience includes serving as Assistant General Manager at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center, where a 40% increase in activity was achieved, and as Technical Director at the Orange County Convention Center, handling all technical aspects for various events.
Gas South District
The Gas South District is a multi-building campus located just outside the city limits of Duluth and 30 miles northeast of Atlanta. The original Gwinnett Center expanded in early 2000 to include the Arena and the Ballroom. Together, the venues have created a unique and exciting atmosphere for a variety of fans and participants. Gas South Arena As the focal point of the campus, the 13,000-seat, state-of-the-art Arena is home to the Atlanta Gladiators, an ECHL hockey team and the Georgia Swarm, a NLL lacrosse team. Besides feeling the excitement of sideline seats to sporting events, the Arena is also perfect for Broadway shows and concerts. Throughout its history, the Infinite Energy Arena has been a premier destination for sports, concerts, and a variety of events. Gas South Convention Center The Forum is made up of three venues: the Exhibit Hall, Grand Ballroom, and 23 versatile meeting rooms. From banquets, corporate meetings to conventions, the Forum has the capacity for any type of event. Gas South Theater The 702-seat theater is home to Broadway events, music acts, and more.
