Prior to that, Ploch held various roles at Beiersdorf, McKinsey & Company, tesa SE, and Technische Universität Hamburg-Harburg, where Franziska gained experience in project management, consulting, product development, and process engineering. Ploch holds a Master of Science in Verfahrenstechnik from Hamburg University of Technology.
