Thomas Noel is the Vice President of Quantum Computing at Infleqtion, a position held since August 2017, where leadership is provided to a multidisciplinary team focused on advancing cold atom quantum computing for practical applications. Previously, Thomas served as Group Leader and Physicist at ColdQuanta, managing significant grants for quantum information science projects. Prior roles include Test Engineer at Ball Aerospace, where innovative laser metrology systems were developed, and extensive academic experience at the University of Washington, where advanced research in ion-ion entanglement and trapped ion technology was conducted. Thomas holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Physics from the University of Washington and a B.S. in Physics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
