Bill O'Connell

Bill O'Connell has over five years of professional experience in software engineering and litigation. In 2022, they began working as a Software Engineer for InfluxData. The previous year, they worked as a Software Engineer for Opal, where they leveraged Microsoft Azure SDKs and developed custom Express.js middleware. In 2021, they worked on three open source projects: Lineage (an algorithm simulator), gameHQ (a game search & information aggregator), and StarLite (a satellite tracking application). From 2017 to 2021, they worked as a Litigation Associate for Susman Godfrey LLP, where they oversaw source code reviews, analyzed hardware and software design documents, and deposed engineers and experts on technical documentation.

Bill O'Connell received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from the University of Chicago in 2010, and then went on to earn their Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Duke University School of Law in 2015.
