Nawal Jaafar has extensive experience in administrative support roles, currently serving as an Executive Assistant at Hempel A/S since March 2020, and as a Personal Assistant at the Information & eGovernment Authority since December 2008. Previous roles include Personal Assistant to the Managing Director at Bahrain Air from October 2007 to October 2008, where responsibilities included preparing various documents and managing the MD's calendar. Nawal began a career in marketing as a Marketing Executive at Starkads from January 2007 to September 2007, focusing on client relations and sales. Nawal holds a bachelor's degree in English Literature from University Cadi Ayyad and a diploma in Executive Secretary and Office Management.

Information & eGovernment Authority
Promulgated by the Royal Decree No. 69 in October 2015, both the eGovernment Authority and the Central Informatics Organization were merged into the ‘Information & eGovernment Authority’ (iGA). Reporting to the Ministerial Cabinet, the authority’s initiatives are in line with the strategies, plans and programs set by the Ministerial Committee for Information Technology and Communication (MCICT) - chaired by H.E. Minister of Interior Gen. Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa Minister of Interior. Currently, iGA is working on establishing newly unified vision, strategy, plans and objectives to serve every citizen, resident and business in Bahrain.
