Scott Dudek

Principal Engineer, Code Development Group at Information Systems Labs

Scott Dudek has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Scott is currently working as a Principal Engineer in the Code Development Group at Information Systems Laboratories. Prior to this, from 2001 to 2020, they worked at The Babcock & Wilcox Company in various roles. These roles included being an Advisory Engineer in the Engineering Services Team, where they created C# and Windows Presentation Foundation applications to facilitate employee work hour reviews and project workload projections. Scott also contributed to the development of a Rulestream application for automating document production based on customer requirements. Additionally, Scott served as a Nuclear Safety Analysis Engineer and Team Leader, where they developed automation software and managed the administrative aspects of the mPower Barberton Design Center. Before that, they were a Principal Engineer in the Computational Analysis Team, where they used numerical models to improve product design and diagnose flow and combustion problems in boilers and boiler-related equipment.

Scott Dudek has a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Akron. Scott also holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
