Mark Cofer is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in Linux systems and authentication technologies. Currently serving as a Sr Linux Engineer at Oak Ridge National Laboratory since June 2023, Mark leads several projects focused on building and managing Linux servers in air-gapped environments. As a Subject Matter Expert in Single Sign-On at Information Technology Strategies, LLC, Mark specializes in Okta, SAML, and OAuth. Previously, Mark held multiple roles at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, including Authentication Engineer and Infrastructure Engineer, and worked as a System Administrator for Information International Associates. Earlier career experiences also include positions at SAIC, Whirlpool Corporation, and EarthLink, with a background in Information Technology and Business Management from Pellissippi State Community College.
