Derek Cason

Derek Cason is a seasoned professional currently serving as the Managing Commercial Director at Info-Tech Research Group, a leading IT technology research and advisory firm, since February 2020. Derek has held various positions within the company, including District Director and Associate Commercial Director, contributing to the delivery of unbiased research for over 40,000 IT professionals. Prior to this, Derek worked as a Business Development Specialist at HRdownloads, specializing in HR solutions for small to medium-sized firms. Experience also includes a role as Sous Chef at Shmokey’s BBQ, where gourmet southern BBQ was crafted, and multiple positions at TD, including Intraday Officer and Credit Specialist, focused on banking and collections. Derek holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Political Science, and Philosophy from Western University, as well as a degree in Culinary Arts from Holland College.
