Michael Buma

Michael Buma serves as the Vice President of Product Development at Info-Tech Research Group since February 2013, providing strategic leadership across product development and project management teams. Initiating a strong focus on aligning business product leaders with IT project teams, Michael has held positions ranging from Director of Product Development to Application Development Manager, driving key projects and optimizing processes. Prior experience includes part-time editing for The Allrounder and roles as an Assistant Professor at Western University, Wilfrid Laurier University, and Redeemer University College, focusing on English literature and sociocultural aspects of sport. Michael holds a PhD in English Language and Literature from Western University, complemented by a Master of Arts from the same institution and a Bachelor of Arts from Calvin University. Notable achievements include the creation of a widely downloaded research blueprint aimed at process optimization.
