Markus Hassinen is the Director and Country Manager for Finland at Infranode, starting in January 2024. Previously, Markus served as an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company, focusing on sustainable and inclusive growth related to corporate strategy, energy transition, and decarbonization efforts. Markus held roles at AFRY as Senior Principal and contributed significantly to Nevel as Group CEO and Advisor to the Board, overseeing the management of multiple energy production and district heating facilities. As Chairman of the Board at Salon Energiantuotanto Oy and Neova AB, Markus facilitated infrastructure development in energy sectors across Sweden and Finland. Experience also includes leadership positions at Vapo Oy, overseeing the energy division and driving renewable energy initiatives. Markus holds a B.Sc. in Finance and an M.Sc. in Energy from LUT University, complemented by leadership training from IMD.
