Andrew Fredericks, MBA, has a diverse work experience in various industries. Andrew started their career in 2008, gaining experience in project coordination and construction inspection roles. In 2013, they worked as an Analyst in Investments at OMERS Ventures, a venture capital arm of OMERS, where they researched and executed investment opportunities. Later, in 2014, they joined Scotiabank's Investment Enhancement Group as an Analyst, focusing on restructuring distressed investments. In 2015, they worked as an Associate at Scotiabank's Debt Capital Markets, specializing in infrastructure, real estate, power/utilities, and project finance. During the same year, they also worked as an Associate in Project Finance at SkyPower Global, an equity investor in solar power projects. Recently, Andrew has been working at Infrastructure Ontario since 2019, initially as the Director of Commercial Advisory & Strategy and currently serving as the Vice President of Commercial Strategy & Execution. In this role, they oversee complex divestments, develops strategic partnerships, provides commercial advice/analysis, and leads business negotiations.
Andrew Fredericks, MBA holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a specialization in Finance & Strategic Business Valuations from the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University. Andrew also obtained a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and Management from Ontario Tech University.
