Vice President, Commercial Advisory at Infrastructure Ontario

Whitney Kennedy has a diverse work experience in different roles and companies. Whitney started their career as an Intern at SANA International, where they volunteered for a local NGO and conducted assessments on EcoSan latrines. Whitney developed innovative solutions to improve latrine effectiveness and repurpose waste materials.

Later, Whitney joined Element Financial as a Business Analyst, where they worked from February 2014 to April 2015.

In 2015, they joined PointClickCare and held various positions, including Junior Business Systems Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Strategic Initiatives Senior Analyst, and Program Advisor, Strategic Initiatives.

Since July 2019, Whitney has been working at Infrastructure Ontario. Initially, they served as a Senior Advisor in the Commercial Strategy & Advisory group, where they identified and structured strategic partnerships with the private sector. Currently, Whitney holds the role of Director in the Commercial Advisory & Strategy department, focused on modernizing Ontario's business and service delivery models through technology strategy and public-private partnerships.

Whitney Kennedy earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History of Science & Global Health and Health Policy from Harvard University in 2013. Recently, in 2022, Whitney completed an Executive Program in Digital Transformation Strategy at the Yale School of Management. Additionally, Whitney has obtained certifications in Cultivating Cultural Competence and Inclusion from LinkedIn, Situational Leadership II from The Ken Blanchard Companies, and Workplace Mental Health Leadership from Queen's University.
