Artur Pereira

Artur Pereira is a skilled DevOps Engineer at ING since May 2022, focusing on the Cyber Fraud Prevention team to develop solutions for detecting and preventing fraudulent payments and money laundering. Prior experience includes serving as an Application Developer at IBM from May 2021 to April 2022, where contributions were made to Itau Bank’s fraud prevention squad, managing biometric authentication systems using Java-based microservices and AWS. As a System Analyst at Cast Group from November 2020 to May 2021, Artur worked on financial and tax control systems for the state of Alagoas, implementing business logic and CI/CD practices. Additionally, Artur completed an undergraduate teaching practicum at Universidade Federal de Alagoas in 2017, focusing on artificial intelligence and machine learning. Early research projects at CNPq involved reengineering systems for scalability and promoting digital inclusion for deaf individuals. Artur holds a Master’s degree in Informatics and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Universidade Federal de Alagoas.
