Masahiro Takano

Masahiro Takano is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Vice President of Network Sector Coverage at ING since October 2019, where responsibilities include managing relationships with Japanese Wholesale Banking clients in Europe and promoting business across Lending, Transaction Services, and Financial Markets. Takano also participates in the Wholesale Banking Compliance Taskforce, focusing on sanctions related to Russia/Ukraine. Prior to ING, Takano held the position of Associate Director at Mizuho Bank Europe N.V., managing relationships with Japanese corporate clients in the Netherlands, and has experience as an Analyst at The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd., serving both public sector clients and small to medium-sized enterprises. Takano holds a Bachelor's degree in Law from Keio University and has further education from SOAS University of London.
