Richard Steger

Richard Steger is a seasoned professional in the pavement and materials engineering field, currently serving as Platform Leader for Asphalt Materials and Sustainability at Ingevity since July 2015. Prior to that role, Richard held the position of Director of Rehabilitation Tech at MeadWestvaco from September 2011 to July 2015, where innovative pavement rehabilitation products were developed. Experience also includes serving as Director of the Design Group at Road Science, LLC, overseeing mix design and performance testing, and holding the position of Director, Business Support Group at SemMaterials, L.P. Richard's earlier career included significant roles at Koch Industries, where product development and materials engineering were central, as well as extensive experience with the Texas Department of Transportation as a Pavement and Materials Engineer. Richard earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University and an MBA from Midwestern State University.
