Bob Border is the global chief information officer for Ingredion. In this role, he is responsible for leading the global information technology function, ranging from delivering digital capabilities and technology solutions to managing information security and data analytics that enable business execution and growth.
Border has more than 30 years of extensive global experience in IT and has led several transformational business initiatives, which have improved process efficiency, data accuracy and delivered significant business value. Prior to joining Ingredion, Border served as chief information officer for Coveris Group, a global manufacturer of flexible packaging, headquartered in Chicago. As a member of the executive management team, Border successfully led the integration of multiple IT organizations into one cohesive global technology team driving technology solutions across the enterprise. Prior to Coveris Group, Border was the vice president and chief information officer for Pregis LLC, a leading packaging manufacturer. Border has also held leadership roles in IT at Lawson Products, Merisant and Monsanto.
Border received a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Illinois State University, and a master’s degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
