Tara Phillips is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in accounts payable management and process optimization. Currently serving as Controller Shared Services at Inhabit® since June 2024, Tara has previously held key roles including AVP Accounts Payable Manager at SmartBank, where significant achievements included reducing operational costs by 25% through automation and successfully integrating a corporate credit card program. At SouthState Bank, Tara managed the accounts payable teams during a major merger and oversaw a high volume of vendor interactions. Additional experience includes roles as a Business Analyst and in Procurement and Inventory Management at Satterfield's Jewelry Warehouse. Tara holds a degree in Project Management from the University of South Carolina, complementing a strong foundation from Winthrop University.
