Ludovico Nicotina

Ludovico Nicotina is an accomplished expert in catastrophe research and environmental engineering, currently serving as Head of Catastrophe Research at Inigo since April 2024. Previously, Ludovico held various senior positions at RMS from August 2011 to April 2024, where responsibilities included modeling and analytics with a focus on flood risk analysis. Academic contributions include a post-doctoral role at EPFL, concentrating on hydrology and water resources management, as well as an internship at the International Center for Hydrology "D. Tonini," where work involved hydrologic-hydraulic modeling for Venice Lagoon. Ludovico holds a PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Università degli Studi di Padova and has engaged in research visits and educational projects at prestigious institutions, enhancing expertise in environmental engineering.
