Andrew Ives

Andrew Ives is an experienced professional in aviation safety with a focus on product and service management at Inmarsat since November 2009. As an Aviation Safety Product and Service Specialist since February 2013, Andrew has been instrumental in implementing the SwiftBroadband Safety service. Prior to this role, Andrew worked as a consultant for the Commercial, Product & Service Management Division at Inmarsat, defining aeronautical service requirements. Andrew's background includes serving as a Senior Consultant and Team Head at Helios Technology, where expertise in Air Traffic Management systems was applied. Additionally, experience as a consultant at MJC2 involved innovative software solutions for optimization and scheduling. Andrew began a career in academia as a Post-Doctoral Research Assistant at the University of Cambridge after earning a PhD in Solid State Physics, complemented by an MA in Physics from the University of Oxford.
