Dan Farrelly

Dan Farrelly is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in leading technical strategies and product development. Currently serving as the CTO and Co-founder of Inngest since January 2022, Dan focuses on creating reliable workflows for developers without the need for infrastructure. Prior to this role, Dan was the Chief Technology Officer at Buffer from February 2014 to December 2021, where responsibilities included overseeing a remote team of over 40 engineers and driving growth from $10M to $22M ARR, alongside the successful launch of key product features. Additional experience includes leadership positions in software architecture and product engineering at various technology companies, as well as co-founding a live music event company in Brooklyn. Dan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Delaware.
