M. Chris Fabricant is currently the Director of Strategic Litigation at Innocence Project. Prior to this, Fabricant held positions such as Director of Criminal Justice Clinic and Visiting Professor of Law at Pace University School of Law, Adjunct Professor at Seton Hall University School of Law, and Advanced Felony Trial Attorney at The Bronx Defenders. Fabricant also has experience as an Appellate Defender at Appellate Advocates and as a Pro Se Law Clerk at US Courts. Fabricant holds a J.D. with Honors from The George Washington University Law School and a Bachelor's degree from University of Arizona.

The Innocence Project is a non-profit legal clinic affiliated with the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University and created by Barry C. Scheck and Peter J. Neufeld in 1992. The project is a national litigation and public policy organization dedicated to exonerating wrongfully convicted people through DNA testing and reforming the criminal justice system to prevent future injustice.
