Marian Danko is currently a Senior Venture Manager at Innovate Calgary, where Marian works closely with researchers, faculty, and industry to bridge the gap between discovery and creating economic impact. Marian is also the host of Between Meetings, co-founder of Startups Gear, founder of weHustle, and has been involved in various startup communities and events such as TECOM, Startup Grind, Slush China, AngelHack, and LinguaPass. Prior to their current roles, Marian has experience as a Sales Manager at Lantan (Shanghai) Trade Co., Ltd and as a Maître D’ assistant at Princess Cruises. Marian holds a Master's Degree in Foreign Philology from H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National University.
