Ganesh Murthy

Ganesh has over 30 years of experience in finance across diverse industries like FMCG, Consumer durables & IT / ITES. He has provided strategic leadership to business teams in the area of financial planning, direct and indirect taxes, cost optimization, legal and statutory compliance, travel, logistics and administrative activities.

Ganesh has experience in Indian multinationals like Mphasis, ITC & Wipro and also in Foreign MNCs like Hewlett Packard, Dell Services, Texas Instruments and Gillette where he has headed the finance function as well as managed large / multi-geography teams. He has successfully managed overall finance & legal functions of organizations including audit, finance, treasury, tax, M&A, investor relations, reporting to the CEO and supporting the board of directors.

In his previous stint at Dell Services, Ganesh has been credited with many accomplishments in the areas of M&A, divestiture of business entities, turnaround in operating profit, operational discipline enabling revenue acceleration & investment in growth areas such as digital & cloud.

Ganesh is the winner of the annual ‘CFO100 Roll of Honor’ awarded by 9.9 Media for his exceptional contribution to corporate finance. He was also awarded the Best CFO for liquidity management by Business Today & Yes Bank. Ganesh is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a participant in the executive management program of Harvard Business School.
