James Byun

Chief Commercial Officer at Innovusion

James Byun has a long and varied work experience. James began their career in 1997 as a Sergeant/G3 Division Leader at the ROK-US Combined Forces Command. In 2001, they moved to Lehman Brothers as a Senior Financial Analyst in the Investment Banking Division, where they were the lead analyst on the sale of Qwest Dex for $7.05 billion, the largest telecom LBO transaction in corporate history. In 2003, they joined Sirius Satellite Radio as Senior Director of Strategic Planning in the Automotive division and Senior Manager of Finance. James then moved to SiriusXM Canada in 2006 as General Manager and Head of Automotive Team. Finally, in 2015, they joined Gracenote as SVP, Global Head of Automotive. Currently, they are Chief Commercial Officer at Innovusion, a position they have held since 2022.

James Byun received a BA in Economics from Brown University and attended Kent School.
