Ricardo Ribeiro is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in computer vision and industrial production. Currently serving as the Coordinator of the Computer Vision & Industrial Production Unit at INOV INESC INOVAÇÃO since October 2019, Ricardo leads a team focused on enhancing production performance through innovative solutions, notably contributing to the YARIS platform for maritime security operations. Previously, as Group Head at the Champalimaud Foundation from July 2011 to October 2019, Ricardo managed a scientific software platform, addressing researchers' needs and guiding project development. Early career experiences include roles in software development and consulting across various companies, where Ricardo implemented IT solutions in different industries. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Iscte - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa and a degree in Computer Engineering from Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
