Prior to this, they were the CEO of Denis Day in 2017 and held leadership positions in HIDARAMANI INTERNATIONAL EXPORTS (PRIVATE) LIMITED, including CEO of Ethiopia Operation and GM Operations. Thilanka also has an extensive background in the apparel industry, having worked at Columbia Sportswear as the Liaison Office Director, Operations Manager, Production Manager, Asst. Production Manager, and Merchandiser.
Thilanka Ranatunga has a PGD in Marketing from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing, with a specialization in Marketing. Additionally, Thilanka has completed executive education in Business Administration and Management from the University of Michigan.
