Laura Mccrystal

Laura McCrystal is an accomplished journalist currently serving as the Deputy Politics Editor at The Philadelphia Inquirer since February 2014, where responsibilities include leading coverage on local, state, and national politics, notably Philadelphia's 2023 mayoral election and the 2024 presidential election in Pennsylvania. Previous roles at The Inquirer include Evening Coverage Editor and City Hall Reporter. Prior to this, Laura worked as a Reporter at the Concord Monitor, focusing on New Hampshire state government and as News Editor at The Observer. Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, Ethics and Democracy, American Studies, and French from the University of Notre Dame.
