Maria Elizabeth Rodriguez Beltran

Maria Elizabeth Rodriguez Beltran, PhD, is a Senior User Experience Researcher at The Philadelphia Inquirer since July 2022, previously serving as a User Experience Researcher. Additional experience includes being a Researcher at the Rutgers Institute for the Study of Global Racial Justice from August 2021 to October 2024 and a UX Researcher and Community of Practice Lead at Hack for LA from March 2022 to July 2022. Roles at Rutgers University involved serving as a Graduate Fellowship Peer Reviewer, providing fellowship advising, and managing research projects. Receiving a Doctor of Philosophy in Comparative Literature from Rutgers University, Maria also holds a Master of Arts in the same field and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in English Language and Literature, as well as Classics from Hunter College.
